Hola, me llamo Eliza, vivo en Cornualles y tengo catorce años. Empecé a estudiar español hace apenas cuatro años y quiero continuar aprendiendo más español y otros idiomas. Me encanta el español porque disfruté el tiempo que pasé en España cuando yo era joven. Solía visitar España con mi familia a menudo para visitar la tumba de mi bisabuelo.

Most of us know that learning a second language is not easy. In fact, it is a really difficult thing to do if you are learning the language from zero. Some also hate to learn new languages because of how much time it takes to learn the language. While both of these points are true, learning any language will open a wide number of doors for our future and present.

Put your hands on your stomach and make the sound ‘ah’. The air stored in your lungs is forced out by your diaphragm and through your airways, traveling up through your vocal folds, opening and closing every one hundredth of a second so that they are able to produce a pitch, modulated by a range of muscles in your mouth to form the sound: ‘ah’.

Dashain is not only the festival of giving and receiving blessings it is also the festival which celebrates the victory of good over evil and marks the end of Durga puja. It’s the longest and the most anticipated festival for all of Nepal and the Nepalese population around the world.

The simple answer that many of you may quickly jump to is yes. Clearly languages allow us to share ideas and communicate our feelings easily through words as opposed to body language. They also give people a chance to become accepting of others by understanding other cultures through language learning, thus strengthening identity.
